How to Heat Cumberland Gap Whole and Half Hams
Cumberland Gap Hams are fully cooked and can be served cold immediately or heated and served hot.

To cook in a Conventional Oven
(preferred method)

  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • If desired, score ham 1/4 inch - with sharp knife and insert cloves or your favorite spice
  • Place ham in baking dish and lightly cover with foil
  • Preheat oven 325 Degrees
  • Bake at 325 Degrees 10-15 minutes per pound
  • Remove foil last half-hour to glaze or garnish.
  • Internal temperature should reach 150 Degrees Fahrenheit
To Microwave
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Score ham 1/4 inch - with sharp knife and insert cloves or you favorite spice
  • Microwave at high power, approximately 3 - 5 minutes per pound Internal temperature should reach 150 Degrees Fahrenheit
To Boil
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Simmer approximately 10 minutes per pound or until internal temperature is 150 Degrees Fahrenheit
